" and yet, i have never seen a person so dumb and smart at the same time.i really wish you could see yourself through my eyes. its tiring to have this conversation. the bottomline here is that you are worth it. you are worth being a friend or lover for. YOU just have to know it."

she laughs at him and tugs at his hair. "hoy youre too serious. lets change the topic na lang. Lets talk about YOUR booboos..."

he looks at her and laughs too. but in his mind he was thinking, she never understands my argument. if she wasnt a dear friend, he would have given up on her a long time ago.

"Never you mind my booboos! hahahaha... at least im not attracted to bald gay men..."

"which one?" she answers while guffawing. "the one abroad or the one at the office?"

"both"

they kept on laughing till tears started springing from the corners of their eyes. she then takes a long drage from her cigarette and then asks him "so you over that whole asian disaster?"

he looks away and stares at the setting sun. "not really. i guess i should, but i still love her."

"aww sweetie..." then she goes and gives him a one armed hug. "so we're all stupid in some ways... but you know, in our 15 year old friendship, the stupidest thing that we've done was that one night..."

"which one? the one at your place or the one in Singapore? so you think that it was stupid?"

"uh, yeah.. that was.. wait.. what happened in Singapore? was i there?"

chuckling, he answered "yeah, when she called me and i was rushing out of the house and we did the car chase thing on the ECP..."

"ooh.. that..."

"what night were YOU talking about anyway?"

she couldnt answer because she was laughing so hard. so he poked her on the sides until she gave him the answer.

"when you kissed me... hahahaha... it was a good thing that my friend called up.. who knows what might've happened if he didnt. but that rated pretty high in my stupid book. i mean.. i had to pat the top of my head to see if it wasnt blown off... mind you, that was one helluva good kiss though..."
